Orlando Bloom

A Graduate of Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Orlando Bloom made his professional stage debut in David Storey's In Celebration in London’s West End. In 2011, he performed Shakespearean texts set to Tchaikovsky, for Gustavo Dudamel and the L.A. Philharmonic. Bloom had his breakthrough film roles in 2001 as “Legolas” in the Academy Award®-winning trilogy The Lord of the Rings and in 2003 as “Will Turner” in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. He subsequently established himself as a lead in Hollywood films, including Cameron Crowe’s Elizabethtown and Ridley Scott’s Kingdom of Heaven. Other notable credits include Black Hawk Down, Troy, Haven and The Good Doctor. Bloom recently starred opposite Forest Whitaker in Zulu and reprised his role of "Legolas" in The Hobbit trilogy.

Condola Rashad received 2012 and 2013 Tony® nominations for her performances in Stick Fly and The Trip To Bountiful. Previously, she received rave reviews for her performance in Lynn Nottage’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, Ruined, for which she also received a Theatre World Award as well as Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle nominations. Other theater credits include Tambourines To Glory at the Alliance Theatre and Pearl at the Kennedy Center. Rashad’s film and TV credits include 30 Beats, Sex and the City 2, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, SmashGeorgetown, The Good Wife and Lifetime’s Steel Magnolias opposite Queen Latifah and Alfre Woodard. His West End debut came in 2006 in Marie Jones’ Stones In His Pockets. His most recent project was Jerome Salle’s Zulu, which premiered as the closing film at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. He is a trustee for the charity Dramatic Need. This is his first visit to America.
